How many beverages do you have to rate to get a recommendation? Rated over 70 beverages and still no rating... Was really looking forward to this app.

Great idea, poor execution with no significant improvements over time. My biggest gripe is not being able to record my rating on new beers not in the database. I add the missing brew, but then nothing after even when searching again.

I give this app five stars because, even though some wines and beers still arent loaded, there are many many that are! If you want an exact science and seriously detailed algorithm, you will probably want to look for a paid app. With this free app, I have had a lot of fun wandering around bottle shops and wine shops, snapping labels and searching for my recommended bottles. Its a fun app at no cost, and I imagine it will only get better with time (no pun intended).

Love the concept for this app but for it to really shine it needs more locally relevant beers. Perhaps over time this will be a very useful app.

If you are a resident of the USA, then this might work for you. If you try to scan European, South American, Australian, South African or Canadian wines, you will be disappointed at how few the app recognizes. Perhaps future versions will have more scope?

If you drink wine and beer from places other than the U.S. you will find the app limited. It has some big brands but is very weak on the local varieties. They should devise a way for users to help them populate their database and customize your suggestions by gps coordinates so that you will get better results. Has promise though.

I agree. You need to add Canadian beer. I live in BC and there is many small breweries.

The recent update is very encouraging and shows that the devs listen to feedback. Update: unfortunately the app does still crash periodically but I have no doubt this will be fixed.

It looks/sounds like it has improved, but I cant find out because it crashes every time I try and actual click on anything. Please fix this!

Unfortunately doesn’t include Canadian microbrews, even big ones like Mill Street

This is an amazing app/idea and its well carried out!

This app has continued to get better with each version. It is rather accurate when recommending wine for me.

The key to a wine app is a broad & deep database. Bought a mixed case today, Next Glass app identified 0 of 12 bottles. I like the concept, but the database is woefully inadequate.

Helps me find wines I really like so I dont risk buying a bottle I dont like. Its super helpful.

Though the database is growing and doesnt yet have everything, I think this app does what it is designed to do extremely well. Real chemistry is used to define the beers and wines on file, the recommendations are spot on, and the rating system is great.

They constantly work to improve the selections. Would like to see more glass selections and maybe similar kinds of beer

I think the idea behind this app is fascinating, but the interface is even better. I use this app whenever I am in a restaurant, in the grocery store, or anywhere ordering new beers.

I LOVE this app! I used to spend $20 on a bottle of wine and find out it was terrible. Thanks to this app I havent tasted a bad bottle of wine and Im thankful for all the money Ive saved!
